You mentioned you've been having this problem for some time... do you recall when it started happening?
In the meantime, I'll ask CopyQ upstream if they have ever heard of such a thing... and see if they have any suggestions
for debugging...

It doesn't matter where I copy from, Konsole, Firefox, Chrome, Kwrite, VNC viewer, spicy, and others.
One other thing I've noticed recently, once in a while, when I've clicked on an item in the clipboard, hoping to make it the item to paste, the clipboard locks up. It eventually recovers. I haven't seen this with CopyQ.
