I'm yet to install F22, but just as an idea --- can you arrange to see
what is the output of top and iotop during the pause (if any)?
That's just to eliminate any cpu and hd hangs due to some buffer
flushings or such...
Nothing obviously different about top or iotop (which I ran from an
xterm) during pauses.
