Know of a workaround or fix? > Yes, but I don't know if what I'm seeing has the same cause. In my case it seems to be related to notifications and the desktop theme. Also, when it happens I simply have to wait several minutes and it clears. Haven't timed it. I can make it happen nearly every time.
