by just type "dnf install packagename.i686"

that's the whole purpose of multiarch
otherwise you won't be able to run any i686 application on your box

just type "rpm -qa | grep i686", all of them likely have the .x86_64 version installed too


I just installed the package, as you recommended. I had to restart Skype, but now its icon appears in the new Plasma 5 system tray, and works exactly as a dynamic system tray icon should work.
