The whole concept of a wallet/keyring only makes sense if there is *one* of them, independent of the desktop, but currently we have two. Since I use a number of Gnome apps such as Evolution, and other apps including Chrome and Firefox use the Gnome libraries by default, gnome-keyring is the one I use, so of course I'm upset that SDDM doesn't support it (KDM does but its days appear to be numbered). There may be some technical reason why confluence is not possible, but if the reason is mainly political (Not Invented Here syndrome) then we should get over it. (Whenever I've commented on this issue in the past, someone says there's a project called Ksecrets to unify the two schemes. As far as I can tell this project has made no progress in several years and is functionally dead). poc _______________________________________________ kde mailing list kde@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/kde New to KDE4? - get help from http://userbase.kde.org
