added updates-testing, rebooted, still get battery low notification ok (I
artificially bumped it up to notify a few % below the current value).

I forgot to note that the power widget on my system shows the laptop battery level, as well as the battery level of my Logitech Performer MX wireless mouse. It even reminds me to recharge the mouse.
