kopete includes cryptography support/plugins, which use kleopatra (infrastructure, libraries, from kdepim).

uhm why should kopete pull kdepim?

kopete works here fine with our Jabber-server, ICQ and Facebookchat for
weeks on completly kdepim-free setups!
