There seems to be serveral problems with the newest kernels distrubted by Fedora (which, by the way, are tainted) and the some intel chipsets. I've had one laptop (defunct for a couple of months) at work that has required an external keyboard to be able to type. I have another laptop that produces kernel warnings all of these problems seem to be related it older intel chipsets. I don't have the list off hand. But I'm sure a quick google or search through bugzilla will point the problems out.
