Now why it is starting in KDE at all, I don't know. IMHO that's a bug in
gnome-screensaver! It should only run in GNOME.
Well, I *like* having a screen saver, I just don't want to lock it. :D Anyway,
it's working now, so I'm happy!
KDE has screen savers too. :-)
