I tried a cheapo PS/2 to USB adaptor some time ago, but it didn't seem to work. I was told at my local electronic store that I needed a PS/2 to USB _converter_, which costs several times as much as a mouse ... More seriously, my favourite HP LaserJet 5L with a Centronics connector has been idle for a couple of years, since the last machine with a Centronics socket went to the computer graveyard. I've often wondered if a simple Centronics to USB adaptor could work? -- Timothy Murphy e-mail: gayleard /at/ eircom.net tel: +353-86-2336090, +353-1-2842366 s-mail: School of Mathematics, Trinity College Dublin _______________________________________________ kde mailing list kde@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/kde New to KDE4? - get help from http://userbase.kde.org
