No one mentions logout in that discussion. I can poweroff and reboot as a regular user in an xterm (with selinux in enforcing mode). I see that a systemd update is coming ... I'll apply that tonight and see if anything changes. Kevin, can you tell me what generates the logout/restart/shutdown buttons in the KDE menu and how they are hooked to code?
