libsolid-upnp support, consider disabling it?

given we have a bunch of related crashes,
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=754530
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259472

and device notifier spam,
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=758008

So first off, ought we to consider disabling the upnp solid backend (in
kdelibs)?
Is there anyone who'd object to removing this functionality? If so, what's
your use-case(s) for it?

Otherwise, we could work on possible workarounds, like advertising how to
firewall upnp-related traffic ( like something similar to
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259472#c11 )
