I've the problem that Amarok cannot play mp3 files and claims that phonon-backend installation must be fixed. It tries to load the package /*MPEG-1 mp3 decoder*/ but cannot do it. However, all necessary libs are installed and VLC player can play mp3 files without problem. I've googled and tried everything suggested, but could not achieve this one. Any help is appreciated. I'm on Fedora 16 - KDE, fully updated. Thanks in advance.
What backend is Phonon using? Gstreamer or xine?
