I guess I > should at least try it under another WM. i am also not sure if other WM would show a different behavior that it slows down until buffers are full is clear but what is not acceptable is that the whole computer in a class few years ago clusters did not have is unuseable while data transfer to an usb-drive while this never happens to eSATA, but not uch drives have eSATA :-(
