Well no :-) I'm using IMAP since the very early kmail2 days. In the beginning 
I had some issues, but now it runs very smooth. I'm using kmail2 as a 
'window'. Any filtering do I on the server side (first at gmail.com, now 
dds.nl). And I'm running KMail stand alone. Till now any issues could be 
solved by restarting akonadi. FWIW this info :-)
