I wonder if the problem is with specific chipset / card. In general, X seems to use high CPU, and the desktop performance is rather sluggish. Your workaround works for individual application, I guess, but I'm not sure if there's a way to do that globally, or if it's even advisable to do that. Thanks. AC |
