I was having this problem on a newly installed and updated version of Fedora 15. Read somewhere that someone solved it by running chrome manually with --password-store=kdewallet for a while and then stopping.
After running /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome --password-store=kdewallet from the command line once the problem seems to be solved.
