Had to wait for the mirror, but yes, that has fixed the akregator problem.  
Thanks.

Now can you advise me on the gpg problem?  Do I file a bug report against 
KMail, KAddressbook or Kontact?  Maybe Kontact, if it is listed, would be 
safest.
