Well, yes, thanks. :-)  I've done that, and will report again if the 
nagging continues.

It was offered and installed, by smart, as one of two new Fedora 
upgrades.  The old version didn't do it.  I suppose it makes sense to 
install it only when beginning the dist upgrade, but I had thought of it 
as a resident component.
