When I try the rpm command, it tells me that the package is not installed. error: package cups-libs-1:1.4.6-1.fc14 is not installed When I try to install the 1.4.4-11 package (x86_64), it tells me it is installed. Obviously there is a problem with the dependency resolution in the KDE desktop install to the GNOME system. I'll try your suggestion to install KDE piecemeal. If that doesn't work, I guess it's back to the KDE live install and try to rebuild the system.
