Just upgraded. I can confirm the problem on first login - a message "Your saved session 'kde' is not valid. etc" - bug to file with kdm? Smooth-tasks causes plasma to crash and stay crashed (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=258026). Can be worked around by commenting out the smooth-tasks section in .kde/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc and logging back in. Kmail/Akregator 4.4.8 seems to work just fine. Otherwise seems good - thanks Rex. Does anyone know if kdepim 4.5.80 still makes a complete copy of any local maildirs? (Don't have the disk space to risk it if it still does). Cheers M.
