Request for Help - Bug 633712

Hi Guys

I'm stumped... Nothing new these days. So I'm asking for any help if I my?

I was alerted to a problem with kde-plasma-translatoid a short while ago, that I can't figure out. It seems that under certain
networking conditions the plasmoid does not communicate with google translate properly. Either the request for a
translation is never sent or is not received. I do not know which. But the jist of it all is that kde-plasma-translatoid does not
translate. I tried with the translator that I can install with google-gadgets with the same symptoms.

I've run into the same problem at work while at home there is absolutely no problem.

I've eliminated the firewall at work by giving the computer that I'm running on full permission for all incoming and outgoing
traffic (temporarily for the purpose of testing). I've also tested a different IP from a completely different carrier (backup
ineternet connection) to see if the somehow google was blocking the IP. Same results.

If anyone can lend a hand it would be greatly appreciated.
