What makes you think it's gone?

What das 'rpm -qf /usr/bin/kmix' yield?

PS: Note that kmix no longer shows all alsa channels by default but
    defaults to pulseaudio now. Start it with KMIX_PULSEAUDIO_DISABLE=1
    kmix from a console to get the old behaviour.
