      The desktop selection only shows up after you entered your username, the 
GNOME folks call that a "feature". :-(

    Yeah see that now, kinda makes me feel like a newb... On a 1920x1200
    display that's almost invisible, unless you know what to look for.
    My eyes are getting too old for Session obfuscation 'features' like
    that. TY, I'll stick with KDM then. -Art
