In the case of kde try konsole. thanks for the hint.. so I have filed it against xterm. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=607018 Does it make sense for KDE to observe NoDisplay strictly? Eg should not searching for xterm in the launcher work regardless of NoDisplay? Richard
