Hi, If you have problems with fullscreen applications flickering when desktop effects are enabled then you can try the following HOWTO: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/KDE/How_to_reduce_fullscreen_flicker As discussed on KWin mailing lists http://lists.kde.org/?l=kwin&m=127557151026528&w=2 at this moment there is no one solution that would be suitable for all users because of performance issues in some applications in fullscreen mode. For office applications running in fullscreen mode flickering can be fixed with disabling of window unredirection with no performance issues but for 3d games this can be unacceptable. So, it was decided to write this HOWTO for help users to make decision.
