Ok. Based on lamarque's comments on http://lamarque-lvs.blogspot.com/2010/05/plasma-nm-more-updates.html regarding knetworkmanager deprecation, this is probably a fruitless endeavor. I'll look into a similar patch for the plasmoid. Ravi
