KDE is now stable on my new laptop (latest Intel graphics driver) - as long as I stick to 'KDE failsafe mode'. That seems to disable compositing - but I don't know what else is missing? I renamed my plasma-desktoprc and plasma-desktop-appletsrc, to start clean sessions, but that hasn't cleared the issues. Any ideas? While I can accept this as a temporary situation, I'd like to track the problem down, before filing a bug report.
