Hi, To get a clear picture of my contacts after the migration I: 1) removed all "recently used addresses" in KMail (Settings -> Configure KMail -> Composer -> Edit Recent Addresses ...) 2) Disable the 'old' Default Address book in KDE Resources (after adding the Akonadi-resource) 3) Restart KMail to be sure no old addresses are left in memory. 4) (Re)moved all files in ~/.kde/share/apps/kabc I'm not sure if it's necessary, but I like to clean up old, not used stuff :-) Hope this helps.
