However, I've no idea what I'm looking for. There are quite a lot of files there, and the permissions on all of them look reasonable, but if one is missing I wouldn't know. Then again, some have rw only on owner, with no access at all for group or world - I wonder if mysql needs r access at least? Most files there seem to be -rw-r--r-- If anyone would be prepared to send me (off-list if you like) their directory listing it would be most helpful.
