On bugzillas

Am I alone in finding the reporting of bugzillas bizarre?

I've been following the progress of recent KMail problems,
all of which have been declared duplicates of the year-old
<https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=186502>.

I submitted one of these "duplicate" bugzillas,
which evidently put me on the CC list for any further duplicates.

But all I receive when one of these duplicates appears -
there seem to be several each day -
is a message that the bugzilla has been declared a duplicate.
I have to go to some trouble to find what the bugzilla actually says.

Surely it would be more rational to send me the brief form
of the bugzilla report, followed by the information
that it has been declared a duplicate?
