I've just tried the '-style plastique' option and it does change the application style. Unfortunately I still get the KDE dialog boxes (I've also tried the windows, cleanlooks, cde and motif styles). I've also poked in the Qt source, but I can't see where QFileDialog- >KFileDialog happens. Thanks Jeremy
