After some problems I finally got F12 up and running yesterday.  Sadly, I'm 
still having the same old problem of getting gpg to work.  I've downloaded the 
two files mentioned here and set them up on my local account.  However, I seem 
to recall that they now need to be put into some root-controlled directory, 
but I can't remember where and can't find the message.  What's more, if I'm 
remembering correctly, I never updated the userbase page - sorry about that.

This time I promise that I will put the answer up on userbase :-)
