I just installed F12 final and I noticed something interesting on this topic. In order to get full 1600x1200 resolution on my monitor (it incorrectly detects as 1280x1024 with the nouveau driver) I briefly disabled KMS while using system-config-display. The start menu bug returned using nouveau. Reenabling KMS restored performance. Sadly with nouveau the screen is fuzzy above 1280x1024 so I need the official driver, but thats another issue. -- Mark Bidewell http://www.linkedin.com/in/markbidewell
