Your problem is probably: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=521988 It should be fixed in alsa-lib-1.0.21-2.fc10/3.fc11/3.fc12 which just got pushed to the F10/F11 stable updates 2 days ago.
