Keep an eye on the size of your plasma-desktop-appletsrc. If you do a lot of copying, for instance, it will grow quite large. If that happens, back it up and then edit - look for links to temporary files and containments that are obviously concerned with copying jobs, and remove them. Tread with care - only remove the things you are certain of. The bug is known, and being dealt with. It's only ill-effect is to slow down the launch of kde - so until that becomes a problem for you, you don't need to do anything about it.
