How is KDE4 working in updates-testing ?

I use plain imap, and have seen the same.  If I use a cabled network 
connection all is fine, but on wireless the signal gets lost occasionally and 
I have to restart KMail.  It's not a freeze - I can close it and restart - but 
it stops working.  I can't fetch and read any message.
