Random Lockups Anyone?

OK. Interesting. There is a similar bug,
 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=472935 ,
reported for Intel 965. Following the comments for that bug, I switched 
to XAA acceleration. I still see some artefacts, and I cannot enable 
certain KDE desktop effects, but I haven't had an X crash since I went XAA.
