I just see that the latest KsCD does not have an option "use digital playback" 
nor something like "use analog playback". Sorry, looks like not implemented 
(jet?). Maybe its possible to add this option in the kscdrc-file? I have 
"DigitalPlayback=true" in the rc-file of KsCD in KDE 4.1.4. Enable "Analog 
playback" with "DigitalPlayback=false"?

PS. KsCD in 4.1.4 you can find the option under Extra -> Configure KsCD.
