Korganizer delete difficulty

OK.. It would seem that there are lot of annoyances when it comes to the 
transition from earlier version of KDE 4.x to 4.2. Simply put gui elements 
don't seem to behave as they should and the problem seems to be a general one.

If you were looking at the calendar in Kontact, or, I would assume, if you 
Korganizer running standalone while looking at the calendar aaaand you click 
on the menu item:

Settings -> Sidebar -> Show Resource View (to activate Show Resource View) you 
see nothing. If that's the case:

Quit Kontact, or Korgnaizer (don't forget to quit the Korganizer Reminder 
Daemon on your system tray).

rename ~/.kde/share/config/korganizerrc

Start Kontact / Korganizer and voila items that you haven't seen before pop 
up. Including the "Calendar" resource view.
