Kontact/Kmail crashes too quietly

OK... I ran into this to... All I did to correct the situation was before 
reswtarting kontact / kmail I backed up ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail then removed 
the kmail folder. Started Kontact again almost all was well. I have to 
reconfigure my filters. Other than that everything was ok.
