well, you don't seem to visit any https web sites that use CA certs  
which are not included by default in konqueror. If you did and you  
tried to add the cert in konqueror, you had noticed that the SSL  
config in konqueror is just plain broken.

I can't use a browser that doesn't support SSL correctly, as much as I  
like using konq. I need to be able to use SSL client certs for  
authentication and konqueror doesn't yet support that in kde4, so I'm  
forced to use firefox.
