Log-detective is going to train AI occasionally in EC2

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

I just wanted to inform you that we plan to train an AI model for the
LogDetective service in EC2 under the community/Copr account. The
corresponding (sub)project lives here:

    https://github.com/fedora-copr/logdetective

We will occasionally start/stop more powerful machines in EC2 for this
purpose.

Side note: There’s a technical issue I'm currently trying to resolve:

> You have requested more vCPU capacity than your current vCPU limit
> of 64 allows for the instance bucket that the specified instance
> type belongs to. Please visit
> http://aws.amazon.com/contact-us/ec2-request to request an
> adjustment to this limit. An error occurred when we tried to
> process your request

However, I don't seem to have the necessary rights to open such a
ticket:

> You don't have the necessary IAM permissions to view that support case.

I'll work with Mirek (in CC) to solve this, but I wanted to let you know
that the machine is not started by mistake. We will tag the machine
with `FedoraGroup=logdetective`.

Pavel
