I used the packages web app heavily when I was learning to package for Fedora. If the search result redirects to a static page and it is possible to limit what data Yacy crawls, then it would be possible to recreate most of the old packages functionality using a JavaScript framework like Vue. I would like to help if there is a need for any web development.
