Yes.
2. Has it helped you decide any area you wish to focus on or contribute to more?
I've been focused on sysadmin-badges for the most part, and feel that I am best to remain there for now. :)

Not recently, most due to a lack of time.

Yes (if it is still necessary for me now, not sure).

None at the moment!
6. What do you find to be the hardest part of getting involved? Finding things to work on? Getting attention from others to help you? Finding tickets in your interest area?
Mostly an issue with a balance of time between daily commitments and diving in and trying to learn something entirely new.

Usually, yes. :)
