There has been. Others have requested this ability as well.

we had some discussion on it and I think agreed to the following plan: 

Setup a automated way to export some part of a projects git tree to a
space where it's available to the webserver directly via a hook. 
Then everyone that can commit to the project can edit the html stuff. 

Does that sound workable for your use case?

Sadly, we have been fighting other fires and haven't gotten to
implementing this yet. Hopefully we can soon.
