being that usb drives are seen as iscsi, i would believe that you
should be able to see more than 4 drives. not sure.

i only use 2 usb drives, but if i had your problem, i would put drive
you are having problem with in as first drive, then connect rest to
see if 'new' fifth drive gives same problem.
