I talked to Mike about this very topic at FUDCon and assured him that we'd support such a FAD whenever someone is interested in planning it. This is exactly the kind of thinking that makes sense for FAD -- getting together people within a day's drive to work on the tasks in which they're regularly participating -- or in which they want to involve or interest other nearby community members.
