basically the older version was totally cache non-friendly (#moin). The
newer version has many patches specifically to help caching servers. This
should help us under heavy load.
It's also partly a stepping stone to the next version of moin that
comes out. We'll have some of our SoC code implemented in with it and
we just figured we'd take the time now to upgrade to something close
so the upgrade to the new version is as painless as possible.
