Placement of the Indian-Rupee Sign on QWERTY Keyboards

As you might know, the Government of India has recently announced a sign to indicate the Indian Rupee. Several IT-industry leaders are taking an active and critical role in this process and are working with the Department of IT (DIT) to enable the new sign in ICT environments.

As a part of the process, an online survey is created to  collect peoples’ preference for the location of the Indian-Rupee sign on QWERTY keyboards. The results of this survey will be presented to the DIT.

The survey contains just one question and is available at http://bit.ly/9i8TCa. Answering the question should need no more than a minute. Please be one of the first to complete this survey.

If the bit.ly link does not work, please try this alternative link: http://www.kwiksurveys.com/online-survey.php?surveyID=KBHKGJ_fd30339a

Also, please encourage others in your sphere of influence to complete this survey.

(To make it easier on the recipient, please reproduce the text of this mail, instead of just forwarding this mail, because after some number of forwards, the actual message gets buried at the bottom of the thread.)

Thank you in advance for participating in this critical aspect of the deployment of the Indian-Rupee sign.
